| This tool returns the wind speed using the government UK wind speed database (NOABL) (V2). NOABL is a wind speed model that calculates the annual mean wind throughout the UK. The calculator returns the average wind speed for the 1 km square that contains the given postcode at three different heights above ground level - 10m, 25m and 45m. It is important to remember that this data is not based on actual measured wind speeds and should therefore be used as a guide only. | |
