We use IES Virtual Environment Software to carry out full 3D building simulation to optimise the passive design of buildings. The simulations enable us accurately model the thermal and ventilation performance of proposed building designs, accounting for orientation, solar gain, building materials, thermal mass and different glazing configurations. Design teams can explore the impact of alternative energy and design strategies quickly and easily.

The benefit of early investment in passive design is that you can minimise the heating and cooling requirements of the building, significantly reducing services costs on the project and the running costs of the building.
