Encraft designed and built a 1500W (equivalent) floodlighting system powered by a mixed solar/wind
system for the Environment Agency in London. The system is used for lighting working areas for clearing
debris after floods and similar events, and consists of two high-powered lighting columns supplied
from batteries. The batteries are charged using electricity generated by a small wind turbine and
solar panels.
You can buy this product directly from Encraft. It is available as lower or higher-powered variants
and is suitable also for lighting sports fields and rural locations where mains electricity is not available.
