Our specialists have secured funding for private and community organisations and local authorities from multiple sources including the Low Carbon Buildings Programme, DEFRA Bioenergy grant scheme and Big Lottery Community Sustainable Energy Programme.

We have also helped facilitate planning permission for wind and comprehensive refurbishment projects, and new build in the green belt by demonstrating innovation using new technologies.

Example projects

Planning permission for school wind project

We acted as an expert witness at the Planning Committee in support of an application by the County Council for a 25kW wind turbine on a new school campus. Permission was granted.

Grant for biomass heating

We secured a £60,000 grant for a 800kW wood fired heating system for a stately home and associated office complex under the DEFRA Bioenergy Capital Grants scheme.

We have secured several 50% grants for large solar photovoltaic schemes for village halls and schools under the Community Sustainable Energy Programme CSEP Grants
