Encraft supervised the refurbishment of a 19th century farm labourer’s cottage, to incorporate high levels of insulation and a ground source heat pump.

This was a major project involving complete gutting of the property, relining the walls and installation of underfloor heating.

The heat pump installed is rated at 6kW and the carbon emissions of the completed refurbishment are 41% lower than using an oil boiler.
