Current Roles

Web Applications Product Manager

Encraft is a well-established specialist technical consultancy in micro-generation and energy efficiency for buildings.

The company has a web applications development team producing leading edge web-based software products for construction and renewable energy companies (see enplanner.com, gateway.encraft.co.uk, www.resprotoolkit.com).

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed person to join us and become the product manager for these applications, taking ownership of them through the full product life-cycle to ensure they continue to meet customer needs in the future, and also helping us identify and develop new applications and products to meet market needs.

The product manager will be responsible for liaising with customers and between customers and the development and consultancy teams. Their role will include specifying “front-end” product requirements to the applications development team, ensuring application designs are attractive and commercially viable, and ensuring customer feedback is built in to ongoing enhancement and release plans.

The person selected is likely to be a graduate, probably in a technical subject, with at least two years’ experience in a customer-facing role, and a reasonable understanding of how web applications and software are structured. Knowledge or interest in the small-scale renewables and building energy or property and construction markets is a distinct advantage.

This is a significant career development opportunity for the right person. Encraft has ambitious growth plans for this part of the company, and the product manager will be the pivotal role in a team which already includes high quality software developers, a technical and data manager, and a strong commercial team. There is an opportunity to grow the role and your career with a business projecting ten fold growth in the next three years.
